Corps In Situ est une compagnie de danse contemporaine implantée à Metz et à Luxembourg depuis 2014, développant les projets de la chorégraphe Jennifer Gohier.

La compagnie crée, explore, rencontre, joue et danse sur scène, dans l’espace publique, les écoles… partant à la rencontre des publics à travers des créations aux formes multiples et avec une attention particulière aux plus jeunes.

L’univers chorégraphique est à la fois visuel, musical et sans parole, rendant les créations accessibles à tous.
La danse est dynamique, emplie de physicalité et nourrie par la collaboration des artistes avec lesquels elle travaille.

Depuis 10 ans , le projet de la compagnie s’est construit de façon transfrontalière réunissant artistes et institutions de la Région Grand Est et du Grand-Duché et tissant des collaborations fortes et pérennes avec des partenaires de chaque pays.

Ainsi en 2024, ce sont 9 créations à formes variables qui constituent le répertoire de la compagnie diffusé en France au Luxembourg et à l’étranger (Bulgarie, Belgique, Suisse, Turquie, Roumanie …)

En écho au travail de création et de son répertoire en tournée, la compagnie développe différents projets d’éducation artistique et culturelle auprès des publics via ateliers, répétitions ouvertes, échanges bord plateau, résidences d’artistes en milieu scolaire …

Corps In Situ is a contemporary dance company based in Metz and Luxembourg since 2014 and developing the projects of choreographer Jennifer Gohier.

Keen the desire to engage with the public, the company creates, explores, shares, plays and dances on stage, in public spaces and schools through creations with multiple forms and with a particular focus on young audience.

The work is visual, musical and wordless, making the creations accessible to all.
The dance is dynamic, full of physicality and enriched by its artistic collaborators. 

The company’s project has been built up in a cross-border way, bringing together artists and institutions from each country and creating strong collaborations with partners from Grand Est Region and the Grand Duchy.

In 2024, the company’s repertoire included 9 creations which is performed in France, Luxembourg and abroad (Bulgaria, Belgium, Switzerland, Turkey, Romania …).

Transmission is a powerful strand of the company’s development. It is involved in various educational and cultural public projects.
